Jeep’s totemic icon is the boxy, body-on-frame Wrangler. But the brand’s best-selling vehicle year-in and year-out is not the Wrangler, but the Grand Cherokee. It is very much a family-focused SUV these days, now riding on a crossover platform. It has been a breakout hit since it first broke through a plate-glass window at the Detroit Auto Show.
