Honda is revitalizing its crossover lineup by way of the TrailSport trim level, which so far has appeared on the three-row Pilot, rugged Passport, and Ridgeline pickup to give them better off-road capability and tougher looks. And for 2026, the TrailSport trim arrives, albeit in less aggressive form, on the hybrid CR-V, giving Honda’s bread-and-butter compact crossover all-terrain tires, tougher looks, and a slick new exterior color that’ll remain exclusive to the rough-road variant. The TrailSport’s debut also coincides with a mild refresh for every CR-V for the 2026 model year, which brings improved technology and tweaked powertrain tuning that makes a fine family SUV that little bit better.
