The Kia Forte is dead, and a new model has taken its place: the 2025 Kia K4. Much like how the K5 replaced the Optima, the K4 takes over as Kia’s compact sedan, going toe-to-toe with heavy hitters like the Honda Civic, Hyundai Elantra, and Toyota Corolla. It arrives as a sedan first, but the 2026 model year will see the addition of a hatchback as well. Along with the new name, the K4 gets a bold new design, an updated interior, and two four-cylinder engines under the hood.
