In 2017, Cadillac introduced the XT5. This was a direct replacement for the SRX. In the name of improvement and economy, the XT5 was a whole new crossover SUV. Updated interior, newer and more advanced AWD system, and an all-new lightweight structure shedding 278 pounds of heft. The XT5 received an updated version of the 3.6 – liter V6 with a slight bump in horsepower and torque. This revised powerplant was mated to a new eight-speed automatic transmission, replacing the old six-speed unit that was in the SRX. As per usual, the first year XT5 saw some issues, but after a couple of years of production, what problems faced the 2019 Cadillac XT5?
