Volkswagen is celebrating 70 years of business in the US, having delivered a series of iconic cars, starting with the venerable Beetle, then the Microbus, the Rabbit, Jetta, and, of course, the Golf GTI. It’s hard to understate how important Volkswagen has been to shaping the US car industry and its effect on popular culture.
