In the world of electric vehicles, the most quotes figures are generally range and acceleration, and that’s because EVs are most known for being good at getting up to speed really quickly, and not needing any dinosaur juice to go. But the absence of an engine under the hood also has a benefit or two – one of which is the addition of a frunk (front trunk) to supplement cargo space. While not every EV has one of these – for example the Chevrolet Equinox EV, which has all the electric bits and bobs under its hood – you can still find some electric vehicles with excellent cargo space these days. And, if you’re looking for an EV that maximizes cargo-carrying abilities, the right place to look is in the electric SUV segment.
