Ram is strengthening its position in Latin America, specifically Mexico, with the all-new 2026 Ram 1200 Tradesman Chassis Cab. It builds on Ram’s 1200 range in Mexico and is designed predominantly as an adaptable platform for fleets, commercial operators, and independent tradespeople. It’s not an all-new model, though – a turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-four engine replaces the previous naturally aspirated 2.4-liter lump. It is, essentially, a rebadged version of the Peugeot Landtrek, originally developed by Peugeot and Chinese car manufacturer Changan Automobile for developing markets.
