At the end of last month, a well-known tipster shared some of the OnePlus 15T’s specs. Well, a new report has just surfaced, confirming some of those specs, plus adding some more information to the table.
The OnePlus 15T will have powerful specs, and a monster battery despite its size
This rumor comes from the OnePlus Club. The source claims that the OnePlus 15T will be fueled by the same chip as the OnePlus 15, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. In other words, it’ll use the most powerful chip Qualcomm has to offer.
A 6.31-inch 1.5K OLED display will be used, it is said, with a 165Hz refresh rate. That is also a detail that Digital Chat Station confirmed over the weekend, by the way.
The phone will feature symmetrical bezels, which will be very thin, as expected. An in-display ultrasonic fingerprint scanner has been mentioned too, as has a metal frame. The phone will be IP68 and IP69 certified at the very least, so it will have great ingress protection.
What else? Well, the last piece of information that the source shared is that the phone will include a battery that is at least 7,000mAh in capacity. So there’s a chance it will go beyond that. All that despite the fact that this phone’s display will be rather compact. The battery life should be outstanding.
Its cameras are expected to be inferior to what the OnePlus 15 offers, though
We still don’t have the camera info, but chances are that the cameras will be inferior to the ones on the OnePlus 15. There’s also a good chance that the phone will include two cameras, instead of three. We’ll see.
We still don’t know when this phone will become official. The OnePlus 13T arrived in April this year, but OnePlus did shuffle its release cycle a bit for the OnePlus 15, so… it remains to be seen. The OnePlus 15 has already launched both in China and globally, while the OnePlus 15R is coming soon.
