McLaren started as a racing team. It broke into the road-legal car market with the Le Mans-winning F1 in 1995. Those road cars have mostly hewed to a concrete formula: two-door, mid-engine sports car with a turbocharged V8 that looks very much like other McLarens. We haven’t seen McLaren follow the crowd and go practical with a crossover yet. But a new report notes that a McLaren SUV is coming, and it’s only a few years away.
