In the busy three-row crossover segment, the Mazda CX-90 stands out with its smooth six-cylinder engine, responsive handling, and upscale interior. For a non-luxury brand, this is a product that looks and feels like it wants to rub shoulders with more prestigious SUVs, and you can also get one with a more efficient hybrid powertrain.
If you’re considering this Toyota Grand Highlander rival, Mazda recently released a new lease deal on the 2026 CX-90. The deal is worth a look if you want one of the cheaper trims, which still comes with a decent selection of amenities.

This Month’s Mazda CX-90 Lease Deals

The Mazda CX-90’s lease price this month is $455 per month over 36 months, with $3,999 due upon signing. This applies specifically to the Turbo Preferred trim, which is one level above the base Turbo Select.
This lease for the Mazda CX-90 includes 10,000 miles per year, with a fee of $0.15/mile if you exceed this limit. Tax, title, license, and dealer options/charges are all excluded. To qualify for Mazda CX-90 lease offers, you’ll have to take delivery by the expiration date, which is December 1, 2025.
We recommend viewing Mazda’s special offers page and inputting your postal code, as this particular deal is specific to California and may not apply to your location. For instance, there’s a cheaper lease deal on the 2026 Mazda CX-90 Turbo Select in Florida, which costs $390/month over 36 months, with $3,999 due at signing.
If you want to buy a new CX-90 instead, prices are as follows:
- Turbo Select: $38,800
- Turbo Preferred: $42,950
- Turbo Premium Sport: $46,980
- Turbo Premium Plus: $50,270
- Turbo S Premium Sport: $53,940
- Turbo S Premium Plus: $57,370
Mazda is also running a purchase offer on the 2026 CX-90, at 3.9% APR for up to 60 months. Furthermore, if you’re a current Mazda owner, you could qualify for a $750 loyalty incentive towards the purchase or lease of a new CX-90.
Mazda CX-90 Powertrain and Features
Joel Stocksdale
Most Mazda CX-90 models come with the lower-output version of the 3.3-liter twin-turbocharged six-cylinder engine, which produces 280 horsepower and 332 lb-ft of torque. This includes the Turbo Preferred, the subject of this month’s lease deal. You’ll need to spend a lot more on one of the Turbo S variants to unlock the full 340 hp and 369 lb-ft from this engine.
Every CX-90 has a mild hybrid system, standard rear-biased all-wheel drive, and an eight-speed automatic transmission.

Standard features on the CX-90 include seating for eight people (although the third row is rather tight), three-zone automatic climate control, an eight-way power driver’s seat, leatherette upholstery, an eight-speaker sound system, and a 10.25-inch center infotainment display. The Preferred adds a 12.3-inch center display, wireless phone charging, heated first-/second-row seats, ventilated front seats, a heated steering wheel, wireless operation of Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, and a power glass moonroof, so it’s quite an upgrade over the entry-level model.
Higher up in the range, the CX-90 becomes a lot more luxurious. It gets second-row captain’s chairs, Nappa leather, faux suede door panel inserts, ventilated second-row seats, a 12-speaker Bose sound system, and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster.

Final Thoughts
In California, it’s possible to lease a Toyota Grand Highlander for less than the CX-90, so the Mazda isn’t the cheapest vehicle in its segment. However, the Mazda remains one of the cheapest six-cylinder three-row SUVs to lease, undercutting Honda’s Pilot—in California, the Pilot’s lease deals start at $459/month with $5,099 due at signing presently.
Mazda CX-90 leasing deals can be had for even less if you consider a 2025 model. There are other discounts we found on 2025 models, and since the updates to the 2026 version are minor, we’d suggest shopping around to find the best deal before committing to the first one you see.
