The company is keeping the project tightly under control for now, but promised to give fans an “exclusive sneak peek at an all-new Ford Racing production road car – a testament to how deeply we’re integrating our racing innovation into the vehicles you drive every day.”
This suggests we can expect a road-going model, which will presumably be based on a Mustang or Raptor.

Details remain scarce, but spy photographers recently snapped a hardcore Mustang GTD undergoing testing on the Nürburgring.
Ford CEO Jim Farley is eager to get the American record back from General Motors, who easily snatched it with the Corvette ZR1 and ZR1X. That’s pretty embarrassing considering the ZR1 cost nearly $150,000 less than Ford’s track-focused supercar.
While the Mustang is the most likely candidate, Farley has also hinted at a $300,000 off-road beast that draws inspiration from Dakar Rally racers. He implied the model would have 1,000 hp (746 kW / 1,014 PS), be partially electric, and have a fully adjustable suspension.
The executive also ruled out the possibility of it being a pickup as he instead hinted at a high-speed supercar for gravel, sand, and dirt.

Besides the mysterious road car, Ford Racing will host their annual season launch. As part of the festivities, “every facet of Ford’s global racing prowess will be on full display” ranging from NASCAR to endurance racing to the Dakar and Baja rallies.
Red Bull will also be on hand to reveal the liveries of the cars that will bring Ford back to F1 after a 22-year absence. The beverage brand will also introduce their two Formula 1 teams at the event.
