The Toyota Grand Highlander has been a huge success for the Japanese marque, almost rendering the Highlander irrelevant. The Grand Highlander has more space than its older three-row crossover sibling, and it’s now even cheaper. That’s reflected in the sales figures this year, with the Grand Highlander (99,833 units) selling more than double the number of units as the Highlander (42,677) across the first three quarters of 2025.
If you want a new Grand Highlander, Toyota is offering some compelling lease deals right now, so let’s take a look at the numbers, bearing in mind that we’re focusing on non-hybrid models exclusively.

This Month’s Toyota Grand Highlander Lease Deals

Toyota
There are 10 different Grand Highlander variants when you include hybrids, but Toyota has focused on the base LE. This month’s Toyota Grand Highlander lease price starts at $369 per month for the LE over 39 months, with $3,999 due at signing. This deal is based on a mileage allowance of 10,000 miles annually, and a cost of $0.15/mile applies if you exceed this. As with most leases, Toyota Grand Highlander lease offers exclude tax, title, licensing, and registration. This deal will run until December 1, 2025.
Lease deals for the Toyota Grand Highlander may be different in your area, so we recommend checking the special offers on Toyota’s site using your zip code. For instance, while the deal for the LE above applies to California, we found another deal for the Grand Highlander XLE AWD in Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and West Virginia. This one is $389/month over 39 months with $4,999 due at signing.
If you want to buy a new Grand Highlander, prices are as follows:
- LE: $41,360
- XLE: $44,130
- Limited: $48,130
- Platinum: $54,545
Toyota is also offering 4.99% APR over 48, 60, or 72 months for seven 2026 Grand Highlander trims.
Powertrain and Features
2026 Toyota Grand Highlander
All non-hybrid Grand Highlanders have a 2.4-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with 265 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque—and none of Toyota’s V6 reliability troubles. Lower trims have standard front-wheel drive with all-wheel drive as an option, while upper trims have standard AWD. All models have an eight-speed automatic transmission.
The base LE, which is the cheapest model to lease, comes with LED headlights/taillights, 18-inch alloy wheels, and a power-operated liftgate. Inside, this trim misses out on the 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster, wireless phone charging, heated front seats, and nicer upholstery of most other trims. However, it still has three-zone climate control, 13 cup and bottle holders, an eight-way power driver’s seat, seating for eight occupants, and a 12.3-inch touchscreen.
On top trims, the Grand Highlander much more effectively lives up to the ‘Grand’ part of its name. It can be had with leather-trimmed seats, heated/ventilated first-/second-row seats, an 11-speaker JBL sound system, a heated steering wheel, and a digital rearview mirror.

Final Thoughts
The Grand Highlander is the crossover the Highlander always should’ve been. It actually has third-row seating that adults won’t find intolerable, and the turbo-four provides decent performance and economy.
The Toyota Grand Highlander leasing costs this month start at roughly the same price point as the Mazda CX-90, although we’d have to side with the Mazda in this case. It has a classier interior and a more powerful six-cylinder engine. For many, though, Toyota’s unbeatable reputation for dependability will be enough to swing things in the Grand Highlander’s favor.
