Austen Mount has been promoted to Managing Director, Operations, where he leads strategic asset oversight and performance optimization across TruAmerica’s 60,000-unit portfolio. Stefan Long has been promoted to Senior Director, Fund and Corporate Accounting, overseeing fund accounting and corporate financial operations.
- Passco Companies, a leading national real estate investment firm, has appointed Stacy Stemen as SVP of Strategic Relations. In this newly defined role, Stemen will lead the company’s strategic growth initiatives through the cultivation and expansion of business development efforts, and oversight of the Passco Ambassador Program.
- Newmark has hired Kevin Hatcher as executive managing director to further accelerate the growth of its industrial real estate practice across the Bay Area and the broader West Coast markets. - Blue Light Capital, a private commercial real estate lender focused on middle-market bridge lending, has expanded to the West Coast with the hiring of Chris Thomas as Managing Director. Thomas will be based in Beverly Hills, marking a strategic step in Blue Light Capital’s continued national growth.
- MacFarlane Partners, a leading real estate investment management and development firm specializing in urban properties, announced the strategic spinout of LegacyFirst, a vertically integrated commercial real estate investment and services company founded by Landon Taylor. LegacyFirst was created to help client partners transform their real estate assets into engines of economic prosperity across major U.S. gateway cities. - Creative Media & Community Trust has entered into a definitive agreement to sell its lending division to PG FR Holding, LLC, an affiliate of Atlanta-based Peachtree Group. The sale is in furtherance of Los Angeles-based CMCT’s main priorities for growing its premier multifamily portfolio, strengthening its balance sheet and improving its liquidity.
