The Dillard’s store, at what is left of The Shops of Willow Bend, will close after the first of the year. Â
The closure follows Neiman Marcus’ recent decision to close its Willow Bend store in January 2027 as part of the mall’s anticipated redevelopment plans.
Centennial is in the process of getting rid the parts of the mall not included in the redevelopment. As previously reported, the company has received approval to demolish more than a third of the suburban mall and build a development featuring apartments, townhomes, retail, a hotel, office space, and restaurant space.
Centennial will rename the development The Bend and plans to include 800,000 square feet of retail, restaurant and entertainment space, up to 965 residential units, a high-rise hotel and a seven-story office building.Â
Construction will take place over three years, likely finishing in 2028.
