It’s hard to exist in today’s world without at least hearing about the Volkswagen Golf. It’s been around since 1974, and is widely considered to be the grandfather of all modern hatchbacks. In 1976, the famous GTI iteration was launched which, again, sparked a revolution by being among the very first mass-produced hot hatches. Over the decades, the Golf has managed to hold onto millions of fans, be it due to its practicality, fun-to-drive personality, or its looks.
