When a new model year rolls around for a car, it’s pretty typical to see some sort of price increase. Usually, if nothing has changed significantly, it might go up by a few hundred dollars. Bigger changes typically come with bigger increases in the four-figure range. Then, there’s the Cadillac Celestiq. The luxury brand’s biggest, most luxurious car is getting a price hike to match. Now the base price, according to Cadillac’s consumer website, starts in the “low-$400k” range. It used to start at $340,000. So, that’s an increase of at least $60,000, or a whole Cadillac Lyriq. We reached out to a Cadillac representative for more details about the updated Celestiq, and he confirmed the new price, but unfortunately wouldn’t be more specific about it than the main site.
