- Mild facelift adds fresh colors, updated styling, and black roof rails on top trims.
- Every model gains a 12.3-inch display with wireless CarPlay and Android Auto.
- Rugged Rock Creek returns with an optional Premium Package for extra comfort.
Nissan has given the 2026 Pathfinder a nip, a tuck, and a few extra pixels to keep its three-row SUV fresh. This isn’t an all-new model, more of a very mild facelift, but it does bring sharper looks, upgraded tech, and a little more polish in an attempt to fend off some newer, more exciting rivals.
What’s Changed?
Making its public debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show later this month at the same time as Kia’s bold new Telluride and its Hyundai Palisade cousin, the updated Pathfinder gets new front and rear fascias, satin badges, and a Baltic Teal paint option.
Inside, there’s a revised dashboard with a larger touchscreen, embossed “PATHFINDER” lettering, and on higher trims, black roof rails replacing the old silver ones. The top-tier Platinum model also adds new 20-inch wheels, fancy quilting on the seats, and wood-tone interior trim.

Tech is where the Pathfinder sees the most action. Every trim now comes with a 12.3-inch touchscreen running wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, while SL and above get a matching 12.3-inch digital cluster.
Previously, low-grade Pathfinders made do with a 9-inch infotainment system. A new 15-Watt wireless charger is faster, smarter, and even has a fan to keep your phone from overheating. Plus, it magnetically locks your device into the sweet spot for charging.
Camera Upgrade
The camera tech gets a boost, too. Nissan’s upgraded HD Intelligent Around View Monitor now includes a 180-degree Front Wide View and an “Invisible Hood View” that lets you virtually see through the hood – ideal for tight garages, drive-through curbs, or just showing off to your passengers.
Power still comes from the familiar 3.5-liter V6 with 284 hp (288 PS) and 259 lb-ft of torque (351 Nm), paired with a nine-speed auto. Towing capacity remains at 6,000 pounds (2,720 kg) on the toughest trims, and the Intelligent 4×4 system with seven drive modes is unchanged.
Rock Creek goes posh
The Rock Creek edition returns as the adventurous sibling, complete with all-terrain tires, off-road-tuned suspension, and some red interior accents for flair. New for 2026 is a Rock Creek Premium Package that adds creature comforts like a panoramic roof and heated steering wheel.
The refreshed Pathfinder hits dealerships in early 2026 and definitely has a little more appeal than before. But the pre-facelift SUV already struggled for sales against the old Telluride and Palisade, and with both of those rivals being all-new for 2026, the Pathfinder is going to have its work cut out.
